What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Cheer Coach position at South Umpqua High School?
South Umpqua High School has an opening for a cheer coach for the 2024/25 winter season.
Minimum qualifications:
Previous cheerleading coaching experience. Must meet certification requirements as established by the Oregon School Activities Association. Must be sufficiently skilled in coaching methods, injury prevention and technical/strategic knowledge. Playing background is desirable. Must hold a current first aid/CPR card. Ability to interact positively with school staff, students and parents is essential.
Duties:
Direct and implement all phases of the cheerleading program including, but not limited to, staff training, camps, program organization and administration. Cheerleading schedule encompasses Fall and Winter sports.

Salary per season- $2,457-$2,875
