What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Cheer Coach position at South Umpqua School?
South Umpqua High School has an opening for a cheer coach for the 2024 / 25 winter season.
Minimum qualifications :
Previous cheerleading coaching experience. Must meet certification requirements as established by the Oregon School Activities Association. Must be sufficiently skilled in coaching methods, injury prevention and technical / strategic knowledge. Playing background is desirable. Must hold a current first aid / CPR card. Ability to interact positively with school staff, students and parents is essential.
Duties :
Direct and implement all phases of the cheerleading program including, but not limited to, staff training, camps, program organization and administration. Cheerleading schedule encompasses Fall and Winter sports.
2024 / 2025 winter cheer season

Salary per season- $2,457-$2,875
