SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Starting the 2025-26 School Year
The Rogue River School District seeks outstanding candidates for the position of School Principal for South Valley Academy (SVA), a hybrid alternative school. SVA currently serves students from 3rd grade through 12th grade, with a total population around 100 students. SVA uses an online curriculum with a blend of onsite and offsite learning. The SVA principal will also assist with other district administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon Administrative License
- Skilled in supervision of instruction
- Knowledge and understanding of learning theory and successful instructional strategies
- Fiscal knowledge and responsibility
- Effective decision making skills
- Excellent interpersonal relation skills
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
- Valid teaching license
Additional Qualifications
- Successful experience as an administrator in a comprehensive school program
- Knowledge and understanding of alternative education programs
- Ability and desire to grow a program through community outreach and marketing
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $119,085 – $127,156 depending on experience and includes an excellent benefit package.

There are currently four schools within the District, Rogue River Elementary, Rogue River Jr./Sr. High School, SVA, and REACh Charter School.
