The South Walton Fire District (SWFD) is a premier Fire/Rescue agency located along the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida. Responsible for various emergency services, SWFD serves 84 square miles in South Walton County, focusing on prompt, competent, and caring responses in times of need.
This is a part-time, on-site Beach Lifeguard role located in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. The Beach Lifeguard will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring beach safety, responding to emergencies, providing first aid and assistance to beachgoers, and enforcing beach rules and regulations.
- Strong swimming and water rescue skills
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in lifeguarding or related field
- Knowledge of beach safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Experience in emergency response is a plus
