What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at Southcreek Management Company?
We are looking for a motivated part-time professional and organized Assistant Property Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist the Property Manager with completing the day-to-day activities at the apartment community.
- Support the property manager in all leasing activities.
- Assisting with maintaining an accurate waiting list, leasing, and meeting occupancy goals.
- Ensuring positive resident relationships and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintaining compliance with HUD guidelines and adhering to company policy.
- Assist with the timely collection, input, and recordkeeping of all rents/accounts receivables.
- Coordination of work with Maintenance Technicians and contractors.
- Comply with all Fair Housing requirements and all federal, state, local landlord laws.
- Other duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Regional Property Supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 1 year property management experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience using Microsoft office
- Must work well with others
