The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for being the subject matter expert for installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining multiple server, data storage, data backup, and datacenter network systems in support of Southeast Health’s complex IT infrastructure. Additionally, the Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for management of hardware and technical application licensing and renewals.
Job Description
Essential Functions
Configures, installs, and maintains Active Directory, and Exchange Database Availability groups.
Configures, installs, and maintains various server hardware and software systems. This includes but is not limited physical servers, blade servers, virtual servers, and virtualization hypervisors.
Configures, installs, and maintains various server operating systems using approved procedures.
Configures, installs, and maintains data center networking systems to ensure reliable connectivity to assigned systems.
Configures, installs, and maintains datacenter storage solutions (SAN, NFS, iSCSI, NAS).
Configures, installs, and maintains server and system monitoring and management systems. Ensures that all assigned systems are accurately monitored for availability of all relevant resources (CPU, memory, network, hardware health, services, applications, and disk space).
Configures, installs, maintains, and monitors datacenter environmental monitoring systems.
Represents the Information Systems department in various organizational meetings
Designs, configures, maintains, and supervises installation of datacenter & infrastructure cabling.
Designs, implements, and manages multiple enterprise data backup systems.
Assists with staff adjustments in the time recording system, to include vacation requests and leave requests
Orients, trains and assists in the annual performance evaluation of supervised personnel according to guidelines established by department management and Human Resources
Creates and coordinates daily work schedules and assignments for adequate coverage.
Assists Senior Manager Infrastructure Systems with candidate interview and hiring process.
Performs other duties as requested by primary manager that do not compromise moral code of conduct or protocols set in place for patient or employee safety

Qualifications
Minimum Education Required
High school graduate or equivalent (required).
One (1) of the following industry standard technical certification is required : Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Exchange Online Support Engineer, VMWare VCP-DCV, or CompTIA Server .

Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Maintain current, certifications attained.
Valid state issued driver’s license.
Ability to operate company owned vehicles for department and organizational needs and must meet the following age requirement :
If transporting more than just self in the vehicle – must be at least twenty-five (25) years old,
If transporting ONLY self in vehicle – must be at least twenty-one (21) years old.
Complies with the state and federal traffic rules and regulations, observing safe driving techniques.
Advanced knowledge of MS Windows Server operating systems
Advanced knowledge of MS Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Office 365, Teams, SharePoint administration
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of VMware Virtualization technology
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of datacenter Storage technologies (SAN, NFS, iSCSI, NAS)
Intermediate knowledge of TCP / IP networking in a multi-VLAN environment
Intermediate knowledge of Linux based operating systems
Experience with network and systems security processes and technology
Experience with datacenter power and cooling systems
Exceptional customer service skills
