Qualified candidates will assist the Head coach in leading the program through the lens of the Roman Catholic faith tradition, assist in managing and directing the program in all aspects. This includes but is not limited to team supervision, training, competing, clinic/camp programs, assisting in developing practice plans for the program, and implementing the plan at practices. Additionally, this person will assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of equipment and uniforms, help in the design and execution of clinics and camp programs to promote program growth, demonstrates ability to work with parent groups, administrators, staff and students, demonstrates ability to organize and maintain positive communication with the community. This person will also follow all procedures of the Rochester Catholic School system, the Hiawatha Valley League Conference and the Minnesota State High School League.
Applicant Criteria: The Assistant Coach will have a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited insitution of higher learning. Prior coaching experience and/or playing experience at the High School level or above is preferred. Applicants should note that coaching certification may be required by our league membership in the future. The successful applicant will be required to achieve any certifications or licensures that our league would require.
The stipend for this position ranges from $1,500 to $3,500 per season.
