Position Summary :
The Attendance Secretary works with staff, students, and parents to maintain accurate records of student attendance and assist in other office areas.
Position Requirements :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); proficiency with software programs is required. Highly developed verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
Physical Demands :
This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 20 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, frequently requires speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms and repetitive motions, and occasionally requires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, pushing or pulling and lifting; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, operating machines and observing general surroundings and activities; work occasionally requires exposure to bloodborne pathogens; work is generally in a noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
Other Skills & Abilities :
Ability to work well with high school students and staff. Understand and comply with all protocols related to data privacy. Ability to perform duties within the high school office environment and schedule, and with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
Schedule :
This long term substitute position goes from 3 / 24 / 25-5 / 16 / 25.
Monday - Friday, 7 : 10 am - 2 : 40 pm / / 7 hours / day
Rate of Pay :
Casual Rate B-2-1 / / $14.70 per hour
