Summary: This position encompasses diverse responsibilities centered around professional development, communications, and operations. The role involves developing and delivering technology-focused professional development for educators, managing the cooperative's online presence (website and social media), overseeing the Print/Media Shop, and providing technology support for meetings. Additionally, the position supports member districts with their online presence, plans public relations events, represents the cooperative at recruitment events, cultivates partnerships for sponsorships, manages cooperative events, produces a podcast, handles promotional materials, mentors interns, and assists with board meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
●Develop and deliver professional development workshops and training for teachers and administrators. (Google, Canva, etc.)
●Manage and update website content and social media platforms to effectively and consistently communicate information to stakeholders.
●Oversee the Print/Media Shop operations and expansion at the Southeast Arkansas Education Service Cooperative.
●Assist with the technology equipment in meeting rooms.
●Support member school districts in developing and managing social media, web content, and blogs.
●Supervise standards and accreditation requirements for website by the month, train responsible employees of the member school districts to manage
●Train parent facilitators and coordinators at member school districts
●Plan and execute public relations events to enhance the cooperative’s image and build relationships with stakeholders.
●Assist in representing the cooperative and member school districts at job fairs to recruit qualified candidates.
●Cultivate relationships with businesses and vendors to secure donations and sponsorships.
●Coordinate and manage cooperative events, including planning, decorations, and logistics.
●Schedule guests and operate the cooperative’s podcast.
●Order and manage promotional materials.
●Provide training and mentorship to college interns.
●Assist with scheduling and introducing guests at board meetings.
●Train member district personnel to do all of the above as well.
●Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises print shop employees and interns in the cooperative as assigned. Carries out supervisory responsibilities per the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees as assigned, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
