What are the responsibilities and job description for the EPA Certified Maintenance Technician position at Southeast Asset Management Services LLC?
Responsibilities (not limited to):
Performs tasks required in a timely, consistent and reliable manner including but not limited to interior or exterior painting, HVAC, electrical, pool maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and housekeeping
Conduct regular maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, or other systems in the
facility as required.
Takes complete responsibility for equipment such as, tools, work belts, keys, pagers, uniforms and
communication devices
Communicates immediately all maintenance/community challenges to the Community Manager
Provides professionalism and attention to all matters of resident relations and resident retention
Keeps work areas neat and clean at all times, picking up after maintenance work is completed
Handles emergency on call and after hours calls as assigned.
Picks up and removes trash prior to mowing a designated area.
Empties trash and recycling containers.
Operates leaf blower to clear roads, driveways, and parking lots.
Performs routine maintenance on power equipment.
Clean interior and exterior areas of buildings on our community on a daily basis, as well as performing additional seasonal cleaning tasks.
Pick up and remove trash and debris from the property and dispose of it appropriately on a daily basis.
Remove snow in winter conditions and keep outdoor areas safe during bad weather, including spreading deicer on walkways and steps.
Perform light excavation, using shovels, picks and other tools to dig trenches and level ground.
Adheres to policies and procedures
Works in a safe manner in accordance with policies and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
