What are the responsibilities and job description for the SE!KIDS Administrative Assistant La Grange Campus position at Southeast Christian Church?
This role will serve the SE!KIDS's Ministry team (Elementary and Early Childhood) by working 25 hours/week for administrative support during the week and on weekends. The goal is to do whatever is necessary to help enable the team to connect children and their families to Jesus and one another while maintaining alignment with the mission, vision and strategies of Southeast Christian Church.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to implement organization plans and structures
- Proficient in MS office and Rock Database
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and understand culture of SECC
- Flexible and calm under stress
What you will be doing:
- Management of volunteer's assimilation and schedules, which would include follow up, database management and communication with volunteers
- Learn and become and expert at Rock (Database)
- Implementation of communication strategies through mailings, vendors, and organizational communication
- Oversee details of events
- Assist in ordering supplies and resources for Children's ministry
- Assist in preparing and organizing supplies for weekend services (Smal group curriculum)
- Attend all required meetings
- Develop relationships with volunteers
- Capable of keeping budget documentation
- Manage Calendar and phone calls
Our Requirements:
- Previous administrative work
- History of working with volunteers and children
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one
