What are the responsibilities and job description for the SE!KIDS CDT Creative Writer - Central Ministry position at Southeast Christian Church?
The SE!KIDS CDT Creative Writer will collaborate with SE!KIDS ministry teams to help write and develop the SE!KIDS weekend experience and SE!KIDS @home. They will help create engaging environments for Discovering God, His Story, and Our Place in It!
What we are looking for
- A passion for children’s ministry and theology who understands the developmental stages of children
- Excellent communicator who excels in facilitating collaboration
- Conflict management skills
- Process-oriented and decisive with ministry in mind
- Have a desire for multi-site campuses to succeed
- Ability to multi-task and complete projects in a timely manner
- Able to navigate and understand basic copyright licensing, ProPresenter, and Planning Center Online
What you will be doing
- Collaborates with SE!KIDS ministry teams to help develop and shape the weekend experience curriculum for both Early Childhood & Elementary
- Eementary
- Writing and adapting Elementary curriculum to fit the mission and vision of Southeast Christian Church through collaboration.
- Assist in writing of and layout/format of curriculum for All Play series.
- Early Childhood
- Writing and leading collaboration with EC Associates to develop EC SE!KIDS yearly curriculum.
- Assist in writing of and layout/format of curriculum for All Play series.
- Eementary
- Collaborates with SE!KIDS ministry teams to write content including scripts and outlines for videos and special projects for SE!KIDS @home for both Early Childhood & Elementary
- Includes link list management, QR codes, writing social media content, contributing to social media calendar, etc.
- Support campuses as determined by SE!KIDS CDT Creative Leader
- Helps to launch new campuses
Our Requirements OR Our Must Haves
- Preferred, Bachelor’s Degree in ministry or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Children’s Ministry
- Preferred experience in Microsoft and Adobe Suite
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one
