General Description of Position
Under the supervision of the Program Chair, the Adjunct Lab Instructor is responsible for instructing students in Chemistry labs according to education and experience.
The lab instructor follows the course outline developed by the instructors at Southeast Community College and uses the approved SCC lab manuals and procedures. The lab instructor implements teaching strategies, monitors and evaluates student progress, keeps accurate student records, and reports student progress to the lead instructor. This is a part-time temporary position.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Chemistry discipline.
- Lab experience.
