Position Summary Information
General Description of Position
Under the direction of the Dean or Associate Dean the Adjunct Instructor, Welding is responsible for providing both laboratory and classroom instruction, developing and updating of both classroom and laboratory courses. This position is also responsible for the maintenance of the welding lab and classrooms, maintenance of equipment, ordering materials, advising students, and working with other program and College committees.
Instruct Students
Maintain and Upgrade Welding Classroom/Laboratory Instructional Facilities and Equipment
Complete and Maintain Program and Student Records
Continue to Maintain Technical Competency in Teaching Areas
Act as Student and Technical Advisor for the Welding Program
Promote and support the College’s diversity goals; promote/support Access, Fair Employment, EEO, Equity, and Diversity programs.
Instruct Students

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Welding Technology.
- Two (2) years of welding experience related to the area of assigned instruction in the Welding Technology Program.
- Must obtain CWE Certification or higher (CWI) within three (3) years of employment date.
Desired Qualifications
- Possess CWI or CWE endorsement
