Position Title : Chief Strategy Officer
Reports To : Chief Executive Officer
Position Summary : A Chief Strategy Officer, or Chief Strategist, is responsible for working closely with the CEO to improve current business operations and revise them to achieve SEFBHN’s long-term vision.
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
- Provide support under the direction of the CEO to external organizations, committees, & boards and other public entities to represent SEFBHN.
- Work in consultation with the CEO to develop relationships and partnerships with local governments, school districts, legislative delegation, hospitals, Medicaid managed care organizations, and other behavioral health funders.
- Survey existing MOU / MOA for opportunities to strengthen protective factors and build social supports across systems.
- Develop a team-based environment to motivate and inspire staff to work collaboratively toward vision and goals by clearly communicating SEFBHN vision, implementing yearly staff development plans, and mentoring.
- Participate in the budget development process and maintain a high level of fiscal responsibility.
Required Education / Experience :
A master’s degree in human services-related discipline required. Minimum of 7 years’ experience with an employment record of increasing responsibilities in strategic planning, project management, and business development, preferably in a large multi-disciplinary hospital or system.
