What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift and Material Handling Technician position at Southeast Handling Systems?
Southeast Handling Systems is seeking qualified Field Service Technicians to work on all types of forklifts and related material handling equipment.
Benefits/Pay:
- Benefits kick in 30 days from hire date-full medical, dental, vision, 401k , etc.
- Pay is based on Experience. You are paid hourly NOT flat rate.
- You are paid bi-weekly on Wednesdays
Schedule/Work Setting:
- Monday-Friday 1st shift hours (typical start time 7am)
- OT is offered and encouraged!
- Outdoor work is required
- On the road-commuting to different customers within assigned territory
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide the best possible service, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair for customer and company equipment.
- Travel to and work in customer facilities, interacting and communicating with the customers to keep their equipment operating safely and efficiently.
- Technicians are provided with company vehicles; therefore, a clean driving record and active driver's license is required
The following experience may be relevant: automotive, diesel, industrial machinery, heavy equipment, or forklift mechanic/technician
