Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support NIH Stroke Certification State License Verification Job Details 1 - 2 years experience required, must be strong with high acuity, 1 : 6 / 7 ratios, and proficient with insulin and heparin drips. This is a Urology Unit. Peritoneal Dialysis not required, but a plus. All RNs must be comfortable with high acuity and a 1 : 6 or 1 : 7 patient ratio. Can offer block booking, except on holidays, EOW required. Job Requirements BLS Required NIH Required Must submit with compact or AL license active and in good standing. Hard deadline for compliance 1 week prior to start. COVID Vaccination required unless they have a documented religious or medical exemption. Flu shot required or religious or medical exemption documented. Schedule Information 36 or 48 hours are OK. Orientations are every other Monday, but the facility is on a Wednesday - Tuesday pay period, so contracts will end on a Tuesday. Unit Specific Information Facility requires an exact match between the name on the DL / SSC and licensure. Additional Details Candidate must bring driver's license to first day; name on driver's license must match name on RN license. Candidate must live at least 90 miles from facility. Must provide Social Security Card or confirm last four digits of SSN in notes. Nursys verification required as applicable.
