Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission (SEIRPC) is hiring a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission, a public non-profit serving Des Moines, Henry, Lee, and Louisa counties (www.seirpc.com). This position works under the direction of the Finance Director, and the successful candidate will have at minimum an AA degree and/or three years’ experience in an office environment. Applicants should be well organized, have a detail-oriented approach, possess effective verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Quick Books. Duties include reception, answering and directing phone calls, accounts payable, weekly deposits, administrative tasks, data entry, and housing program assistance. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and includes participation in the Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System (IPERS) pension plan. Wage range is $21.00 – $23.00 per hour DOQ. Benefits include health insurance via PPO or HSA, long-term and short-term disability coverage, vision, dental, term life insurance, 457 personal retirement plan access, and wellness stipend.
