Logistics Coordinator for Construction Industry

About This Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CDL B Driver to join our team. As a key representative of the company, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport and deliver building materials to customers and job sites in a timely and professional manner. Your strong attention to safety protocols, road conditions, and vehicle maintenance will ensure that our customers receive exceptional service while upholding our unwavering commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Safe and Professional Driving:
• Operate a CDL B commercial vehicle (flatbed, box truck, or boom truck) to deliver building materials to customer locations and job sites.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Safely load, secure, and unload materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Customer Service Excellence:
• Serve as a professional and courteous ambassador for the company, ensuring positive customer interactions.
• Confirm delivery details with customers upon arrival and obtain proper documentation (signatures, invoices, receipts).
• Address customer inquiries or concerns professionally and communicate any issues to the dispatch team.
• Operational Efficiency & Teamwork:
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and trip logs.
• Assist in warehouse operations when necessary, including loading/unloading trucks and organizing materials.
• Work collaboratively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and sales teams to ensure smooth delivery schedules.
