SUMMARY:
The Corporate Giving Manager is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, securing, and stewarding corporate gifts to Southeast Missouri Food Bank. Reports to Director of Development. This position is focused on building relationships with business in the southeast Missouri. In partnership with the CEO and Director of Development, the Corporate Giving Manager leads and directs corporate fundraising for the organization, with a focus on cause marketing, sponsorships, grants, event participation and corporate volunteer engagement in support of the mission and programs of Southeast Missouri Food Bank.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· In partnership with the CEO and Director of Development, leads and directs the overall corporate partnership strategy, including establishing goals, objectives and budgets.
· Develops, plans and implements fundraising and engagement strategies for corporate partners, including grants, sponsorships, cause marketing, event participation, Board and committee membership, and volunteer engagement to meet ambitious revenue and volunteer goals.
· Develops and fosters relationships with current and potential corporate partners through a process of prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, closing of gifts, and stewardship and securing sponsorship. This may include, but is not limited to, attending corporate events, preparing corporate foundation and proposals, providing follow-up reports or presentations, and developing creative acknowledgement vehicles unique to each corporate partner.
· In partnership with CEO and Director of Development, supports Board members in corporate giving activities, managing engagement of volunteers, event participation, funding support and conferring on strategies.
· Creates and executes mutually beneficial corporate employee engagement opportunities including volunteerism, payroll deduction plans, corporate challenges and/or match programs.
· Researches, identifies, cultivates, and engages new businesses, companies and executives resulting in event and program partnerships, cause-related marketing income, third party events, sponsorships, and other corporate revenue streams.
· Develops internal reporting to assess the financial growth of programs and event funding within corporations.
· Keeps detailed, comprehensive, and accurate records of contacts with all prospects and donors in the CRM database.
Helps recruit, train, coach, and motivate volunteers to engage in solicitations and other cultivation and stewardship activities.
· Provides face-to-face presentations and/or tours for corporations, service organizations, volunteer groups, and others on behalf of Southeast Missouri Food Bank.
· Analyzes corporate donor data to inform giving and engagement strategies and generates progress reports on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Education/Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field with 3 years of progressively responsible experience in similar or related function OR 5 years of progressively responsible experience in similar or related function.
· Experience in fundraising, securing, and closing corporate gifts, or in corporate sales/customer service.
· Full computer proficiency with standard Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint and Excel.
· Self-directed and motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team with cooperative spirit.
· Valid Missouri driver’s license and good driving record
· Must be willing and able to work occasional nights and weekends
