Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Medical Staff Assistant to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. As our Medical Staff Assistant you will work a Monday - Friday day shift and will be responsible for the following :
- Receive and record telephone messages in a courteous, accurate, and professional manner.
- Completes QCL's on time, scan, and digitize documents into the EMR. Ensuring all documents are properly aligned, orientated and cropped.
- Create and maintain a filing system for digital files and physical documents, and perform quality checks to ensure that all scanned documents are of high quality and are legible.
- Consistently provides outstanding service to all patients, physicians, and fellow employees.
- Proficient in utilization of computer systems and clerical skills to fulfill your position duties.
- Utilize EMR efficiently and effectively to assist patients with appointments and other general information.
