Overview
SCCI is seeking a skilled Simulation System Maintenance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a solid background in AEGIS Combat Simulation System engineering development, including design, development, test and evaluation, lifetime support maintenance, configuration management, and tactical training. This role is critical for maintaining and ensuring the operational readiness of simulation systems. This position may require occasional travel and is in support of future work expected in 2025. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:
- Performing maintenance activities for AEGIS Combat Simulation Systems
- Leading the development and review of combat system elements of design, acquisition, and installation plans
- Conducting test and evaluation of simulation systems to ensure they meet operational requirements
- Providing lifetime support maintenance to ensure systems are functioning optimally
- Managing configuration changes and updates to simulation systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of simulation systems
- Developing and delivering tactical training programs related to simulation system maintenance
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
- High School diploma
- Three (3) years of experience in AEGIS Combat Simulation System engineering development to include design, development, test and evaluation, lifetime support maintenance, configuration management, and tactical training
- Demonstrated ability to develop and review combat system elements of design, acquisition and installation plans
- Must meet DOD 8570 OR successor requirements for Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I certification. IAW DOD/DON CSWF requirements, Contractor employees assigned to an IAT Level-I designated position with SECRET access will be required to have a favorably adjudicated SSBI completed every 5 years
- Strong understanding of simulation systems engineering principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in scenario development and scripting
- Proven ability to operate and maintain complex systems
