Overview :
SCCI is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our team! In this position you will provide technical writing support for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM). Successful candidates will serve as part of the IETM development team for maintenance documentation. This position is located in Austin.

Responsibilities :
- Research, create, edit, and maintain technical documentation.
- Write remove & replace, fault isolation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
- Manage multiple content files and effectively resolve issues.
- Perform peer reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Follow defined style guide standards, as well as DoD standards.
- Collaborate with other technical writers, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure accurate technical content.
- Utilize a web-based project management and issue tracking tool.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of documentation tools, standards, and processes.
