Job Summary:
Southeastern Health and Wellness Institute is seeking a dedicated and organized Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This role is instrumental in providing an exceptional experience for prospective students while ensuring smooth operational processes for admissions and student services.
The Admissions Coordinator will oversee essential duties such as student engagement, managing enrollment processes, and organizing events, while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Admissions Coordination:
- Conduct student tours to showcase our facilities and programs.
- Follow up on prospective student inquiries, guiding them through the admissions process.
- Manage and lead MyCAA (Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts Program) leadership and administration.
- Oversee VA (Veterans Affairs) Tungsten and Enrollment Manager processes.
- Attend high school career fairs and events to represent the institute and connect with potential students.
Student and Program Management:
- Process student status changes, including withdrawals and leaves of absence.
- Handle daily attendance records, adjusting hours for students staying late or with unique circumstances like missed fingerprints.
- Organize and manage student records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Support Services for Continuing Education:
- Prepare CEU (Continuing Education Unit) packets for course attendees.
- Maintain and submit LLR (Licensing and Regulatory Requirements) hours on a monthly basis.
Operational Tasks:
- Manage and distribute scrubs for students.
- Maintain effective communication with students and faculty leaders to support a seamless educational experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Strong organizational skills with an excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, faculty, and external organizations.
- Experience in educational administration or related fields is a plus.
