WIC Clinical Assistant
WIC Clinic hours are Monday thru Thursday 8am to 6pm and Friday 8am to 12 pm
Position is 40 hours each week

Responsibilities:
- Performs paraprofessional clinical duties; establishes and maintains client records, gathers client data and provides health and community program resource information to clients.
- Interviews clients to obtain and document detailed personal data including health and dietary information.
- Explains services and programs, determines client eligibility, and uses information to establish need and adapt services for clients.
- Obtains height, weight and hemoglobin.
- Describes program requirements, client rights, and obligations.
- Provides health and nutrition information to groups and individuals using professionally prepared materials.
- Distributes program outreach materials.
- Contacts clients about program services.
- Compiles data for program reports.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires the ability to conduct customer focused interviews. This MQ is typically met with six months of customer service experience that includes interviewing and eliciiting information.
This position requires the ability to document data in an electronic record system. This MQ is typically met with three months work experience with an electronic record system, -OR- education/training on computerized record systems.
