We serve diverse customers and industries on a made-to-order basis. We have an immediate opening for a full time Quality Control Technician at our Lancaster, Ohio location.
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team. In this position, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming parts, materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.
Quality Control Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for inspecting, testing, sampling of manufactured based upon quantity, technical descriptions, and standards required by the customer.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review protocols, qualifications, and validation procedures documented by the organization.
- Audit and monitor quality requirements by performing detailed machine goods inspections in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specifications.
- Investigate non-conformance issues or discrepant materials and assists in resolving issues to ensure final inspection clearance.
- Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
- Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and dimensional tests, and communicating to the supervisor
- Verify goods comply with company and customers protocols.
- Use of various gages, coordinate measuring machines, noncontact gages to ensure product compliance.
- Complete inspection reports and findings for proper documentation and correction.
- Calibrate gauges.
- Perform other duties and specific projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma / GED
- Work experience
- 5 years of related experience in inspection of complex machined parts
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015
- Job specific attributes/skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Experience with tooling and fixtures and inspection gages
- Computer knowledge – Excel, Word, Access
- Extreme attention to detail, organized, and accurate
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Preferred qualifications (if applicable)
- Surface plate layout experience

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
