Southeastern Spine is looking for an energetic new patient referral coordinator to join our team.
Primary Job Duties:
- Scheduling new patients
- Communicating with referring offices about their patients appointments
- Working with medical lien companies to schedule patients
- Estimating visit and procedure cost
- Greeting patients
- Check-in/check out
- Collection of payments
- Insurance verification
- Scheduling appointments
- Entering data into the EHR system
- Answering phones
- Uploading medical records and patient information
- Performs other duties as required
Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalency preferred
- Medical office experience required
- Understanding of insurance types and policies required
- Understanding of insurance verification software required
- Knowledge of NextGen/Healthfusion and/or other EHR systems preferred
- Pay is based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
