Southern Auto Group is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and skilled professional to join our team as Sponsorship and Event Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to build relationships with new and current business partners and vendors. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides support to the Marketing Director by planning, implementing, and executing sponsorship and events. Plus, maintaining a monthly budget and calendar
• Proactively identifies potential partners. Engage and schedule meetings to discuss sponsorship opportunities
• Make periodic contact with established business partners (email, phone call, in person) to nurture relationships for future opportunities
• Ensure that the Southern Auto Group is receiving the benefits and assets associated with the negotiated sponsorship and events agreements
• Develop and implement in a timely manner Social Media posts highlighting upcoming events, the conclusion of the event, and other news of interest about Southern Auto Group and it's employees
• Showcase our products and services at events in a professional manner
• Work with internal employees to efficiently and effectively select the vehicles for display, transport the vehicles to/from events and assist with setting up the display
• Work with Accounts Payable to ensure that sponsorship and events agreements are paid in full
• Maintain promotional items as well as tents, tables, and any other items related to our display
• Facilitate internal communications to inform the Team of upcoming events and available tickets
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, as well as some nights and weekends
• Perform other tasks as required by the Marketing Director

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 3 years of experience in related field
• Background in Sales and Marketing
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adjust to changing circumstances or new situations
• Capable of handling a variety of tasks or roles effectively
• Willingness to work with other's needs and schedules
