We are looking for a Help Desk Support Tech to join our team and provide technical support to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to customer inquiries, and providing technical assistance. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This person will need to be self-motivated. Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Provide technical support to customers and staff.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
- Provide solutions to technical problems in a timely manner.
- Keep up to date with new technologies and products.
- Document all technical support activities.
- Report all outstanding issues that are not resolved that day to IT Director
- Perform all other duties assigned by management.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift and carry 10 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. periodically.
- Able to bend, stoop, and climb on an intermittent basis.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of PC / LAN hardware troubleshooting and basic knowledge of workstation software
- Working knowledge of Windows networking and operating systems
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (preferred)
- Knowledge of network cabling (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
