Job Summary
This position provides administrative and accounting support to the construction department. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks related financial tracking and general office support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing of invoices from subcontractors and vendors
- Prepare and process payment applications to subcontractors and vendors
- Data input to Quick Books
- Assist with the preparations
General Office Support
- Answer phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Greet and assist visitors
- Maintain Office supplies and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Filing paperwork
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
- Quick Books experience is preferred
- Associates degree in accounting or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior experience in an accounting role is a plus but not mandatory.
