What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back Office Technician position at Southern California Eye Consultants?
We are looking for an energetic, friendly, responsible and reliable Ophthalmic Technician who enjoys a challenging and busy atmosphere working for a glaucoma and cataract specialist. You should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, caring, professional and be able to multi-task. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY willing to train the right person.
Key Functions and Expected Performances: Conduct patient work-ups, including history taking and documentation of the patient's chief complaint, review of systems and all pertinent ocular findings. Perform testing including, VA measurements, auto-refraction, manifest refractions or willing to learn, OCT, retinal photography, and Humphrey Visual Field testing. We are open Saturdays from 8-12. Staff rotates on Saturdays.Position is full time.'
