Full Time Police Officer

Southern Clarion County Regional Police Department (SCCRPD) seeks to hire a full-time police officer with $1,000 signing bonus each of 1st 2 years. Requirements: US Citizen, high school diploma or GED, valid PA driver’s license, successfully completed or eligible for Act 120 training, capable of MPOTEC certification, able to pass drug test, physically and mentally fit to perform full duties of a Police Officer. Experience preferred, academy candidates considered. Submit completed application to Secretary at station by 2 PM on April 3, 2025. Full time officers must pass Civil Service physical agility test at 9 AM and written test at 10:30 AM both on Sat., April 5, 2025, in New Bethlehem, oral exam, plus extensive background check. 2025 FT starts at $39,520/year, increments with experience. Without experience: $15/hr. during academy. After SCCRPD-funded academy: $36,400/yr. Academy scholarship-eligible. Part-time starts ASAP at $18.00 depending on experience.
