Responsibilities
- Greet potential tenants and provide tours of available properties, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
- Assist in the application process, including data entry of tenant information and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and tenant interactions in compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
- Collaborate with property management to ensure all units are market-ready and assist in marketing efforts.
- Stay informed about local rental trends and pricing to effectively upsell properties to prospective tenants.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and Section 8 requirements as applicable.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including preparing lease agreements and other documentation.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is essential; experience in real estate or property management is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations, and guidelines processes is highly desirable.
- Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks; experience with real estate administrative duties is a plus.
- A proactive approach to upselling properties while maintaining a focus on tenant satisfaction.
