Skilled Immigration Paralegal

Salary Range :  $50,000 - $60,000

Potential for bonus compensation based on expertise!

We are an expanding and top-tier immigration law office in Jacksonville, FL, searching for a paralegal professional who echoes our dedication to assisting deserving individuals establish their residence in the finest nation on earth!

At present, we are in need of an individual who can meet with clients for intake meetings, compile necessary documentation, draft and file legal paperwork under the supervision of our Attorneys, and uphold ongoing correspondence with our clients. Ideally, you should possess prior experience as a Case Manager, Paralegal, or Legal Assistant in an Immigration law firm. While we are prepared to provide training on our internal procedures, you should have fundamental immigration law knowledge and Paralegal experience to seamlessly integrate into the role. We seek an individual who is proactive, sociable, and an exceptional team contributor!

Compensation :

50,000 - $60,000 bonus DOE

Responsibilities :

  • Meet with clients to explain our process and identify what is expected of them
  • Gather and prepare documentation
  • Prepare legal documents under the direction of an Attorney
  • Submit legal documents to the proper agencies
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars with accuracy
  • Perform basic administrative tasks – draft documents, copy, scan, file
  • Maintain communication with potential and existing clients in person, by phone, and by email
  • Manage paper and electronic files
  • Back up team members when they need a hand or a day off
  • Research legal issues and procedures
  • Communication with immigration officials and opposing parties
  • Create reports and maintain client databases

Qualifications :

  • Must be fluent in Spanish
  • Demonstrates respect and care towards clients, embodying warmth and friendliness

  • Proficient in communication via phone, in-person, and email
  • Skilled in building relationships with various personalities and authority levels
