What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at Southern Educational Systems?
Here we GROW again! We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Office Administrator to join our expanding team. This position will be responsible for communicating with our outside sales team to ensure a smooth sales process, purchasing equipment as needed, being able to complete shipping, receiving, and inventory processes within our warehouse. Being able to navigate through Microsoft Excel, an eye for detail, and communication is a must.
Responsibilities:
• Understanding & completing outside sales team tasks.
• Answering potential customers' questions, tracking orders via email and phone communication
• Maintaining a database of current and potential leads
• Staying informed about competing products and services
• Warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, and inventory equipment
• Uphold standards of self-motivation, time management and productivity, and maintain a workspace that is clean, organized and professional
Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience), preferred
• 1-3 years of previous experience in an office environment, preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and Google Drive
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Excellent phone communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong listening skills
• Ability to achieve targets/goals
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
• Other duties as deemed necessary
