Position Overview : Located in Jackson, MS, the Life Insurance Service Specialist offers expert support to our agents and policyholders, providing them with essential information regarding our diverse array of policies including life, health, disability income, universal life, adjustable premium life, and long-term care. Your expertise will facilitate the efficient processing of service requests and transactions.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with two years of customer service experience or five years of relevant experience (call center, banking, insurance, etc.).
- Basic insurance knowledge preferred.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications preferred (basic Word and Windows skills).
- Typing proficiency (minimum 25 wpm).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written.
- Ability to effectively multi-task.
Key Responsibilities :
Address product-related inquiries and provide support to agents and policyholders while resolving issues efficiently.Balance call handling and transaction processing seamlessly.Communicate effectively with agents, policyowners, banks, etc., supplying necessary policy information such as values, beneficiary details, and basic tax forms.Process various service requests from policyowners and agents, including changes to addresses, beneficiaries, and policy ownership.Determine necessary forms for service requests, ensuring they are completed accurately and endorsing them when appropriate.Quote policy information and assess the authorization for requests regarding policy distributions.Review and apply payments, reaching out to policyowners and agents when needed.Distribute annual reports, tax forms, premium notices, and other requested materials.Conduct basic research on policy transactions.Perform necessary accounting tasks and enter data into EAS and Ingenium.Recognize and present Client Review Opportunities to agents for potential sales improvement.Identify and propose opportunities for enhancing the customer experience.Employee Benefits : We prioritize our employees' well-being through a comprehensive benefits package :
