The Human Resources Administrator is a vital role responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and HR support in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This individual will oversee essential office functions while assisting with core HR responsibilities such as onboarding, attendance tracking, disciplinary actions, and employee file management. JOB SUMMARY
Administrative & Office Support
- Answer and route incoming phone calls; greet and assist employees, visitors and clients with professionalism.
- Maintain and organize both digital and physical filing systems.
- Respond to administrative inquiries and retrieve information from records, emails, and other documentation; prepare summaries and reports as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel for managers and supervisors.
- Prepare agendas, take and distribute meeting minutes, and support meeting logistics.
- Monitor and manage office supply inventory and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
- Maintain petty cash tracking and assist with internal expense reporting.
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
Human Resources Support
- Track and report employee attendance, including tardiness, absences, and no-call/no-show incidents.
- Support employee onboarding and processing, including background checks, I-9 verification, tax forms, benefits enrollment, and orientation scheduling.
- Assist with maintaining up-to-date and compliant employee records.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for new hires.
- Assist with employee disciplinary documentation and ensure consistency with policy and process.
- Review and verify employee timesheets for accuracy; resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to payroll inquiries and support issue resolution in collaboration with payroll.
- Support recruiting efforts, including pre-screening applicants and participating in large-scale hiring events and job fairs.
- Assist with unemployment claims, workers’ compensation documentation, and other employee relations processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience with Paylocity HRIS/HRCRM strongly preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience working in foodservice, institutional, military dining, or union environments highly desirable.- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in an administrative role.
