Summary
The Systems Support Technician I is a member of the I.T. support team. This position provides end-user computer support at all levels. In addition to end-user support, this position assists with the installation, maintenance and general support of desktops, laptops, and other systems and devices falling under the I.T. Department’s responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Promotes the Company’s mission and values-based culture by delivering quality service and support to all consumers of PlayCore I.T. services.
- Responds to support tickets, telephone calls, e-mail and direct requests for technical support. Encourages use of support tickets as std request method.

Tracks and monitors each request for support to ensure a timely resolution.
- Provides support for all electronic devices and connectivity.
- Coordinates resolution of all communication support issues and requests.
- Maintains hardware and software inventories. Includes vendor relationships, purchasing, and maintenance contracts.
- Trains users on proper network usage and procedures.
- Provides coordination with Corp IT Services for Network and Server upgrades/repairs.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor

Education and/or Experience
- Associate’s degree in related field, or 2 years relevant work experience
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate – Windows or Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician certification preferred
Travel
- Travel in this position is very limited and may only be necessary in relation to the needs of a specific project.
