About the Role
This position offers an exceptional opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of automated warehouse systems, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain new warehouse equipment and technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement change.
- Develop and maintain robust preventative maintenance systems to prevent downtime and minimize costs.
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve high levels of performance and exceed expectations.
- Provide training and guidance to direct reports and other warehouse staff on the use of automated warehouse systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience, preferably in electrical engineering.
- PREFERRED courses/certifications include OSHA training/certification, Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate, Certified Technical Professional (CTP), and Professional Management professional (PMP).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft suites.
- Knowledge of safety programs including but not limited to; electrical, fire safety, IPE and confined spaces.
Physical Demands
- The role requires a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50lbs.
