Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain new warehouse equipment and technologies.
- Monitor key performance indicators and evaluate technology performance.
- Maintain automated warehouse systems at all times.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance systems for automation, conveyors, and related systems.
- Coach, counsel, and manage a team of employees.
- Train direct reports and other warehouse staff on automated systems.
- Plan and oversee maintenance and repair work, developing efficient emergency repair systems.
- Order and receive supplies and equipment, maintaining necessary inventories.
- Flexibility to work varying hours and shifts as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Preferred courses/certifications: OSHA training/certification, Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate, Certified Technical Professional (CTP), and Professional Management professional (PMP).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft suites and safety programs including electrical, fire safety, IPE, and confined spaces.
Physical Demands:
- Considerable time spent walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50lbs.
