About the Job
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated warehouse systems. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will drive process improvements, enhance efficiency, and support the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of automated warehouse systems to guarantee optimal performance.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of new technologies and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement robust preventative maintenance systems to minimize downtime.
- Counsel and coach a team of employees to achieve high levels of performance.
- Provide training and guidance to direct reports and other warehouse staff on the use of automated warehouse systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience, preferably in electrical engineering.
- PREFERRED courses/certifications include OSHA training/certification, Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate, Certified Technical Professional (CTP), and Professional Management professional (PMP).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft suites.
- Knowledge of safety programs including but not limited to; electrical, fire safety, IPE and confined spaces.
Physical Demands
- The role requires a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50lbs.
