Job Description:
- Conduct thorough assessments of inmates' mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on stabilization, skill-building, and preparation for re-entry into the community.
- Provide individual and group counseling services, addressing a range of issues such as substance abuse, trauma, anger management, and coping skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including corrections staff, medical professionals, and probation officers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, sessions, and other relevant information.
Our ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in counseling or social work and current licensure (LPC, MSW, etc.). Knowledge of evidence-based practices for working with justice-involved populations is also highly desirable.
