- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of inmates' mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on stabilization, skill-building, and preparation for re-entry into the community.
- Provide individual and group counseling services, addressing a range of issues such as substance abuse, trauma, anger management, and coping skills.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, potentially challenging environment. They will also have excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of evidence-based practices for working with justice-involved populations and be committed to cultural competence and working with diverse populations.
