About this role :
We are seeking a Service Electrician / Generator Technician to manage and perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs, with a focus on residential systems and generator services. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, install and service generator systems, and ensure all work adheres to safety standards and codes. You will interact with customers to diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and provide high-quality service. Strong technical skills, experience with generator systems, and effective communication are essential for success in this position.
In this role, you will be responsible for :
- Understanding and working with electricity, electrical systems, motor control systems, and process control instrumentation.
- Conducting maintenance, service, and repairs across a range of areas including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical systems.
- Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
- Performing light maintenance tasks on electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC / R units.
- Supporting the repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Inspecting electrical systems and components to identify hazards or defects and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical malfunctions, particularly in lighting circuits.
- Additional duties as assigned.
