About this role:
We are seeking a Regional Sales Trainer Manager to join our growing team. This is an integral role for the success of our company as we build our team of sales professionals and drive revenue. This position reports to the Director, Training & Development. As a Regional Sales Training Manager, you will deliver consistently superb, enthusiastic, and engaging training and hands-on training consulting and experiences to drive our teams. This position requires up to 80% travel throughout the company’s services areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the leadership teams to determine sales training priorities and what training to deliver to ensure the highest business impact.
- Facilitate training courses and initiatives, continual education, and workshops.
- Execute group and individualized training plans based on business needs.
- Establish strong relationships with the trades (HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing) to gain a better understanding of the business needs.
- Continuously monitor individual and company training needs.
- Create and manage the implementation of hands-on, face-to-face delivery of the product and technical training for management and non-management staff, including train-the-trainer activities.
- Design and implement follow-up activities to strengthen and sustain knowledge gained and skills developed from technical training programs and courses.
- Create and monitor KPIs and reporting to ensure performance metrics are exceeded.
- Continuously improve/customize existing programs and courses.
- Coordinate, design, develop and implement training/education plans to drive sales; follow product training objectives.
- Work directly with sales teams to develop sales strategies and build a collaborative partnership with the sales and service teams.
- Assist with training and integration of “Southern Model” with acquisitions.
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities
- 3- 5 years of experience conducting sales training, leading a sales team or successful sales leadership.
- Experience working with various home services or in home sales (solar) professional trades (HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing) is strongly preferred.
- Experience cultivating high-level relationships with key decision-makers.
- Ability to interpret sales reports and identify corresponding behaviors that impact results
- Ability to lead change management.
- Ability to train diverse audiences.
- Ability to create engaging training content in multiple mediums.
- Strategic thinking capabilities.
- Bring high energy and inspirational leadership to all with whom you interact
- Ability to think creatively, self-starting, and motivated.
- Strong communicator and collaborator with the ability to build trust and rapport across the organization.
- Effective time manager when dealing with competing priorities and deliverables with strong attention to detail.
- Must be technologically and mechanically inclined
