Position Summary
- The HR Coordinator for Learning & Development plays a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment. This position supports the coordination, and implementation of learning programs and culture initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic goals. The HR Coordinator will work closely with the Learning & Development and Workplace Culture teams to ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed and that the company’s values are reflected in everyday work life. By managing training logistics, maintaining records, and assisting in the execution of culture-enhancing activities, the HR Coordinator contributes to the continuous growth and engagement of the workforce.
The HR Coordinator for Talent Acquisition is responsible for supporting SIH mission and goals to positively impact recruitment, retention, experiential learning, and career outcomes.
Education

Role Specific Responsibilities
HR Coordinator for Learning & Development:
- Coordinate Learning & Development Programs: Assist in planning, scheduling, and organizing training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.
- Support Onboarding Process: Facilitate the onboarding of new hires by coordinating orientation sessions and ensuring a smooth transition into the company culture.
- Manage Training Records: Maintain and update employee training records, ensuring accurate tracking of participation, completion, and certifications.
- Assist in Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to create and refine training materials and resources that align with organizational goals.
- Promote Workplace Culture Initiatives: Support the execution of workplace culture programs and activities, including employee engagement events, recognition programs, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Communication & Outreach: Coordinate internal communications related to learning opportunities and cultural initiatives, ensuring employees are informed and engaged.
- Monitor Program Effectiveness: Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions and culture programs to identify areas for improvement and contribute to continuous program enhancement.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Learning & Development and Workplace Culture teams, including managing calendars, preparing reports, and handling logistics for events.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with HR, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of learning and culture initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- Foster a Positive Work Environment: Act as a champion for the company’s values, helping to create an inclusive and supportive workplace where all employees can thrive.

HR Coordinator for Talent Acquisition:
- Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential applicants.
- Assists in orientation of new employees and students
- Follows up with employees, students, school representatives, and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
- Manages files and retention according to company policy.
- Develops and maintains department policies and procedures
- Assisting in developing and conducting presentations, workshops, and other special outreach programs; supporting engagement, employer relations, employment, experiential learning, and programming and event initiatives
- Acting as Career Liaison to specified colleges or initiatives providing group and individual career advising and assist with obtaining experiential learning and job opportunities; providing career advising, presentations and instructions to assist students in their career decision-making process; working with faculty in assigned colleges to increase opportunities to present career content in the classroom
- Assisting in planning and managing specific career programs and events, such as Career Fairs; assisting with developing campus outreach programs, to include virtual and in-person information sessions to engage students and faculty; coordinating campus-wide programming efforts with
- Assisting with monitoring of student workers and their assigned projects; and perform administrative duties required in ending student relationship.
- Assists with marketing strategies to connect candidates to SIH opportunities.
