The School of Health Sciences in the College of Health and Human Sciences (CHHS) at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIU Carbondale) is seeking qualified applicants for one or more Assistant Lecturer positions within the Communication Disorders and Sciences (CDS) program, beginning on August 13, 2025.
The intent of this announcement is to identify a pool of non-tenure-track faculty for these programs. These are variable-time, term, non-tenure-track positions that are contingent on available funding and enrollment. Reappointment is possible based on performance, programmatic need and budget availability.

The target salary offer for this position is $6,000.00 per month at full time. Actual salary for part-time appointments will be prorated based on the percentage FTE of the appointment.
Examples of Duties
To teach and provide clinical supervision for graduate students in communication disorders and sciences.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: Applicant’s area of specialty is open but should be compatible with, and preferably complement, current faculty specializations in Communication Disorders and Sciences.
