Duties and Responsibilities
- Review each move-out voucher to assure proper information has been received from each community. Fill out Collections Acceptance Criteria Checklist notating information omitted and submit to Collection Manager
- Responsible for inputting information from the move-out vouchers to create new accounts
- Responsible for Credit Bureau consumer reporting, updates and disputes
- Responsible for reference and verification calls
- Process all mail return into collection software with correct up-to-date information
- Responsible for answering and directing phone calls
- Responsible for revising all applicable accounts
- Responsible for all internal and outgoing mail
- Secure and accept payments from customers
- Responsible for payment input, bank deposits and insufficient check processing
- Type memos, letters, and create & revise forms as needed
- Contribute to the team's effort by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed
- Comply with all Southern Management's policies and procedures
- Perform various other duties as assigned by Director and / or Supervisor
