Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review each move-out voucher to assure proper information has been received from each community. Fill out Collections Acceptance Criteria Checklist notating information omitted and submit to Collection Manager
  • Responsible for inputting information from the move-out vouchers to create new accounts
  • Responsible for Credit Bureau consumer reporting, updates and disputes
  • Responsible for reference and verification calls
  • Process all mail return into collection software with correct up-to-date information
  • Responsible for answering and directing phone calls
  • Responsible for revising all applicable accounts
  • Responsible for all internal and outgoing mail
  • Secure and accept payments from customers
  • Responsible for payment input, bank deposits and insufficient check processing
  • Type memos, letters, and create & revise forms as needed
  • Contribute to the team's effort by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed
  • Comply with all Southern Management's policies and procedures
  • Perform various other duties as assigned by Director and / or Supervisor

  • Bank deposits and payments are correctly done without error
  • Meet department goals and objectives
  • High school diploma
  • Two (2) years office experience
