Dietitian

Role:

Southern Maryland Dietitian is growing and onboarding new clients. The Community Dietitian may conduct nutrition assessments and provide education at group homes, facilities, group events. Assignments, location, and job duties may vary. The RD in this role may see one-on-one patients in our Charles County office.

We are seeking RD's who have clinical experience with a range of nutrition conditions. Experience in long term care, primary care, nutrition counseling, and public speaking is desirable.

Ideal candidate will have 4-10 hours of in person availability in Southern Maryland each month with potential for additional hours.

Southern Maryland Dietitian is mainly virtual nutrition practice with a physical office in Charles County. We are friendly, flexible and believe in family first. Our mission is to use nutrition to help people live better lives.

Responsibilities:

• One-on-one nutrition counseling & medical nutrition therapy.
• Nutrition education, counseling and behavioral change.
• Maintain documentation.
• Assist with scheduling follow up appointments.
• Stay in communication with practice administrative staff regarding schedule, patient care, and related responsibilities.
• Must be Registered Dietitian with 2 years of experience.
• Must be or become licensed in Maryland.
• Must have or obtain own professional liability insurance.

Job Types: Contract, PRN

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week
