About The Job
The Supervisor of Outpatient Phlebotomy is responsible for supervising the operations of and coordinating the activities within phlebotomy and/or support departments, focusing on the needs of our patients, clients and staff ensuring accuracy from the point of specimen collection.

About The Job
The Supervisor of Outpatient Phlebotomy is responsible for supervising the operations of and coordinating the activities within phlebotomy and/or support departments, focusing on the needs of our patients, clients and staff ensuring accuracy from the point of specimen collection.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee off-site phlebotomy locations and Traveling Phlebotomy Services, including all staff activities, orientation and training of new personnel, nurses, PCT’s, MA’s and students and scheduling of personnel to provide adequate coverage and efficient use of personnel
- Resolve problems and issues related to staff as well as daily operations within the departments and informs Director, Laboratory Services as needed.
- Focus on customer service. Prioritize, identify, and resolve problems maintaining open communication with clients.
- Develop the skills and abilities of staff members to assist building a team atmosphere
- Ensure all areas are up to date for state inspections, working with laboratory staff as needed.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- ASCP required.
- Phlebotomy Certification preferred
- A minimum of three-five (3-5) years of Laboratory experience required.
- Previous lead and/or supervisor experience preferred.
